Seller's Description

Manual transmission OFF-ROAD capable 3rd gen 4Runner that's built into a SUV camper. See my walkthrough video for more info: https://youtu.be/EdxG2jZU83w This is perfect if you... - are 5' 10" max height - can drive manual transmission - sleeping 1-2 people (We fit as a couple, the side bed extension gives us enough space) - need to access trails that require true 4WD (stuff Jeeps go on, rock crawling, trails in Utah, etc) - want to be able to sit up in bed (unlike those platform builds where it's practically like a coffin inside) - want a smaller vehicle for easily getting around town/trails (3rd gen 4Runners are the same width as a Subaru Crosstrek! Great turning radius too!) - want a REALLY WELL MAINTAINED vehicle (I owned it for the last 10 years, and previous owner was the first owner I believe). No accidents either. - don't mind cooking outside It's worked perfectly for my wife and I as rock climbers! We're upgrading to a bigger truck camper to do more remote work, but for weekend or even 1-2 week trips, this is fantastic! I'm going to miss this truck that's been reliable through 10 years of adventures. It's tough to beat the combination of off-road capability, small size (can park in compact parking spots), good on-road handling, modern 10" touchscreen, etc! Here's all of the setup... KITCHEN - INDUCTION stove (1300 watt) - WATER jug (11 liter Dometic) with FAUCET (Dometic faucet) - TABLE, folds out of rear trunk (literally just pull it down, it's set up in 2 seconds) - FRIDGE, small 9 liter fridge - Slide-out storage that holds included two pots and one non-stick pan, hot pad, cutting board, sponge, soap, cooking oils, and has space for scissors, can opener, etc - Drawer storage that holds included spices containers and extra space for cooking knives and other cooking extras SLEEPING - TWIN foldable bed with over-the-leg storage (so you can sit up in bed, rather than platform style where the storage is underneath you but then you have little sleeping space) - Dual storage drawers, with plenty of space to hold toiletries and a few extra things - Small "table"/"counter" space inside, with space for a few cups POWER - 1,024 Wh LiFeP04 Ecoflow Delta 2 (for Induction stove and charging devices) ($700 new) - 1,620 Wh LiFeP04 Dakota Lithium Starter Battery (starts the car and also provides additional power to Ecoflow battery) ($1,189 new) - 266 Wh Power Bank for fridge - 700 Watt alternator charging - 100 Watt solar panel STORAGE - Roof-top cargo box - Two full-size Sidio crates that store above your legs above the bed - Dual small under-the-bed drawers on each side of the bed, with a small amount of space for things like radios and other smaller devices OFF-ROAD - 12.5" of ground clearance (2.5" more than stock) - 2" lift kit (OME springs, Bilstein shocks) (~$1,400 new) - 1" bigger tires (265/75/R16) - Rear ARB air locker (~$2,600 new) - Tire inflation hose to go with ARB air locker compressor, inflate your tires on the trail! MISC - 10" Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto touchscreen head unit (~$650 new) - Backup camera (180 degree, it's as wide of a view as our 2021 Subaru) - Full window shades for all windows MAINTENANCE HISTORY - All regular preventative services done on time (oil / air filter / diff oil / transfer case / spark plugs / engine coolant) - I have full maintenance records since mile 0! - New Bilstein shocks at 252k miles / 4/2024 (should last till ~330k miles) - New clutch at 241k miles / 7/2023 (AISIN brand clutch, same brand as OEM) (should last till ~410k miles) - Replaced valve cover gaskets at 236k / 1/2023 (should last till ~340k) - Spark plugs at 233k / 12/2022 (due again in Dec 2024) - New upper ball joints and control arms at 228k / 4/2022 (should last till ~400k) - New front brake rotors at 227k / 12/2021 (should last till ~370k) - New lower control arms at 225k / 7/2021 (should last till ~400k) - New brake booster and master cylinder at 206k / 10/2018 (should last till ~380k) - New power steering rack at 183k / 5/2016 (should last till ~350k) UPCOMING MAINTENANCE - Spark plugs due Dec 2024 / 263k (like $40 if you do it yourself) - Oil change due Feb 2025 / 263k - Next major service on 7/2026 or 284k miles (diff oil, transmission / transfer case oil, engine coolant) KNOWN ISSUES - The ABS (anti-lock braking system) isn't functioning. Some people actually purposefully disable this (it kinda isn't the best, especially on snow or dirt, read the toyota-4runner.org forums), but it failed a few thousand miles ago and I haven't fixed it. KNOWN NIT-PICK ISSUES - The driver seat is just slightly starting to tear in the middle of the seat bottom - The rear locker button often breaks off, so I keep the button switch in a drawer and grab it to turn it on and off. You can get a replacement switch and re-attach it, but it's in a position where your knee easily hits it getting out of the car and I think that's what breaks it. I've found it's easy enough to just temporarily use the switch like I do, I don't activate it super often. The air compressor switch is functional like normal (which I use way more). - Exterior paint is relatively good for a 24 year old vehicle. There's some rock chips on the front, the hood paint is starting to peel in some small spots, the side paint has a few pinstripes/etc on it, but overall it still looks pretty dang good for a 24-year-old vehicle.
