Seller's Description
We were drawn to this van because of the simplicity of the build. Queen sized bed for two, simple battery bank, fan, lights and ample storage. It's a converted ambulance with a lot of the original cabinetry and lighting. The bed slides in and out, creating a ton of extra storage space for bikes, gear, etc. There's a gigantic drawer that slides out from under the bed that can fit a ton of stuff. It has a simple battery bank that charges from the engine to power lights, fans, and the inverter to charge electronics. We used this all summer with no solar and the battery was plenty to keep our electronics charged (phones, computers, headlamps, electric shaver, and whatnot), use the lights, and run the fan constantly without ever being worried about the battery dying. The battery is wired for solar and panels, or a solar briefcase could be added easily. We had a bad experience with a mechanic before taking this out for the summer and ended up having to replace the entire AC system. The cost on that was too much for us to keep the van so we're now selling it to make some of that money back. HOWEVER, that means you get a BRAND new AC system! Again, simple build, and relatively low miles for a diesel engine. Please reach out with questions!
