Seller's Description

Selling my 2016 Ford Transit Campervan that I have called home for the last two and a half years. The only reason I am selling this van is because I am completing a bus build as we have outgrown this space now that I am traveling with a partner and large dog - but we traveled (mostly) comfortably with all three of us for three months together! Prior to that, it was a perfectly sized space to live in when it was just my dog and me. Electrical: - 400 watts solar - 1000 watt inverter - 3 outlets - Bluetooth solar charge controller to keep track of power - 170Ah lithium battery - Big Battery brand with external shore charger Build features: - I can stand and sleep width-wise comfortably and I am 5'8". Any taller, and you might bump your head in a few spots. - Full size memory foam mattress - Maxxair fan - Tinted side camper window with screen - Chest fridge in custom oak box with additional storage - 6 gallon fresh water tank with quick release (room to store plenty of extra jugs under the bed) - 6 gallon grey water tank with easy removal for dumping - Foot pump water pump (there is also a hookup for an electric water pump that I left in. I decided to switch to the foot pump to more easily conserve water, but an electric one can be easily installed again) - Nature's Head compost toilet - 17 inch copper sink - Diesel heater with custom metal plate to protect floor and custom breathable box to be able to store things on and around it - 2 CO detectors, 1 smoke detector - Fire extinguisher - Swivel front passenger seat - Lagun table mount - Custom black out insulated window covers for rear, driver and passenger side windows Van mechanical information: - Clean title in hand - Mid-roof height, 148" wheelbase - 139,786 miles - mostly highway miles, have driven across the country with the van at least 5x. - All information of past mechanical work has been saved and kept with the van - previous two owners left records with the van as well. - Oil change with synthetic oil every 5,000 miles - Have always had my mechanic look over the van before cross country trips. I have never had to bring it in out of concern, but had normal maintenance work done after check ups. I have all invoices and records from these check ups. Last check up about 9 months ago and suspension, brakes, oil filter, air filter, etc all looked good. - Tires about 1 year old and still in great condition There are a few dents and dings that came with the van before I purchased it: - Upper rear passenger side (pictured) - previous owner backed into the roof of a cabin and scraped the top side of the van. This is cosmetic and I purchased it with this. It has not affected the function of the van. - Driver's side wheel well there is a small red scuff. I purchased the van with this and is only cosmetic. - Plastic piece under sliding door has fallen off - I got too ambitious with a campsite and bottomed out on a rock, losing the plastic piece on the bottom. I sanded the chipped paint and put Rustoleum protector on it to prevent rust from forming on this part since it scratched the paint. - Sometimes a small leak develops in the window above the kitchen. I have just needed to touch up the silicone sealant on the outside once a year to fix this, and then it is good for a while longer! I purchased the van in January of 2022. It was converted in 2018 by someone else, but my dad and I have added lots of upgrades to make it comfortable for full time living such as the heater, composting toilet, extra storage, and upgraded the electrical system so I could go off grid for weeks at a time. I have brought this van across the country, down into Mexico and up into Canada. It has never once given me mechanical problems, and is surprisingly easy to maneuver in both cities and on forest service roads. This van has treated me so well over the years, and I hope it can give someone else the amazing adventures it has given me. Please don't hesitate to message me for more pictures, mechanical service records, or any other questions you have!
