Seller's Description
We are selling our rare 1994 4WD Hiace HiTop Camper. This 4x4 beauty is built on the LH119 chassis and features Toyota's legendary 3L diesel engine with less than 75,000 miles (119,500 kilometers) on it. These engines are known for their great mileage and reliability and regularly go over 500k miles before a rebuild is needed. At 75k, this is just getting broken in. This van is right hand drive with a 4 speed transmission along with locking differential with High and Low Four Wheel Drive. With new 3 peak snowflake rated Kumho tires this drives great in the snow. The smaller size makes it ideal for the hardest to get to primitive camp spots. The fiberglass high roof top and factory camper build make it very comfortable to camp in. The bottom seats fold into a large bed with a custom made cushion and memory foam topper. The top of the van has a slide out bed for younger kids or one adult. Other camping features are a large pantry, original porcelain stove, vent fan, power inverter, new deep cycle battery, refrigerator, sink with 10 gallon fresh water tank, YKK roll out awning, flip-up prep table, drawers and cabinets, custom curtains, outdoor rug, and cassette toilet. The new diesel heater keeps things extra toasty on even the coldest nights. Up top the side windows open up and have integrated shades and screens. There is additional storage up top for camp chairs, luggage, and firewood. Pros: Undercoating and rust proofing New muffler New bluetooth Kenwood stereo pre-wired for backup camera Timing belt replacement New radiator cap New water pump New fan belt New cooler belt New power steering belt New crank pulley New water pump pulley New AC compressor belt tensioner pulley New starter battery New deep cycle battery New diesel heater Front and rear AC Recent transmission flush New Transmission oil cooler New 3-peak rated snow tires New wiper blades Custom curtains Tinted windows Custom cushions New gas springs for tailgate Additional 20L diesel jerry can Clean title Recent maintenance history and service records Cons: Minor dents and rock chips Minor surface rust Split seam on drivers seat Missing rear backup mirror Interior carpet is fraying on edge We love this van but between our kids growing like weeds and with our 90lb dog, we are looking for something a little bigger. This model with the reliable 3L engine and 4 wheel drive is highly sought after and very rare with the hi-top and factory camper build. Recently these are selling for upwards of $55,000 like this example here: https://www.vanlifenorthwest.com/1996-toyota-hiace-hitop-4wd-camper-van We would love this to go to a great owner who can use that $20k in savings to do something worthwhile.
