Seller's Description
I am the second owner of this van. The previous owner did the build to maximize function and comfort. He lived and worked remotely in the vehicle for two years.. The van is extremely reliable on streets, freeways and dirt roads. With its high roof and extended length there is ample space for two people. Being able to stand up instead of crouching has made a difference for me. The insulated van interior opens from two rear doors and from a sliding side door. The seat benches become the sleeping area (6’ long and 5' 2” across) with the flip of a hinged plank. The 4 modular pieces used for the seat cushions and backs become the mattress (see photos). Two people can sleep very comfortably on the converted bed. Pets enjoy it too. A lockable door adds a secure partition between the cab and living area. There is lots of storage with overhead bins, under bench slots and kitchen cabinets. A taller closet holds the portable toilet, clothing and extras needed for the trips. On one side of the kitchen area is a sink with plenty of counter space. Water comes from a 10 gallon freshwater tank with an electric pump. Wastewater is diverted to a 5 gallon tank with a spigot under the van for draining. A Dometic fridge is below the sink keeping food fresh for extended trips. On the opposite side of the sink is the black glass stove top with two burners (propane) and additional counter space. Integrated solar panels coupled with the engine alternator generate the power for the vehicle. I have added a shore power option for plug-in on the side of the van. With both 12v and 120v as power options electronic devices and small appliances can be used. I redid the electrical wiring and also installed a power monitor to track how much energy different devices use. The van has 4 new tires and the brakes were replaced before purchase. Everything is current and up-to-date. I have listed other features below: -ecoboost engine provides extra power at higher altitudes -airlifts are installed for better suspension -insulated except for the sliding door and rear doors (for now) -two 100 watt solar panels -two 155 amp 12v deep cycle batteries -40 amp solar charger controller -converter with 120 volt system panel -3000 watt pure sine wave power inverter -65 watt Dometic fridge -smart battery isolator -fuse protection for all electrical components -electric junction box -blue tooth speakers Instead of adding complexity and weight with a permanent shower/toilet installation, I use portable options that provide space flexibility. This allows for easy maintenance and more living area. The van is perfect for weekend warriors, extended road trips, or anyone considering the van life adventure. Turn-key ready - just add your personal touches and hit the road! Feel free to contact me if you have other questions.
