Seller's Description
I am the second owner of this van. The previous owner configured the inside to maximize comfort and space. The build is not typical meaning it's got lots of space. He lived in the vehicle for almost two years while traveling up and down the western coast. I have taken shorter trips in California and had a great time. The vehicle drives well and has been off road. It gets 16 miles per gallon. With its high roof and extended length there is ample space to travel comfortably. Being able to stand instead of crouching makes a difference. The sitting benches become the sleeping area (queen size) with the addition of a center board. I am changing the sleeping area set up to make it more user friendly but for now it works. The mattress we currently use is memory foam with a thin plywood backing from the original owner. The mattress is in three pieces (for bench cushions). Two people (with a dog) can sleep very comfortably on the converted bed. A lockable door between the cab and back area adds security. There is lots of storage with overhead bins, under bench slots and kitchen cabinets. A taller closet fits the portable toilet, clothing and extras needed for the trips. On one side of the kitchen area is a sink with an electric pump providing water from a 10 gallon freshwater tank. Wastewater is diverted to a 5 gallon tank with a spigot under the van for draining. The Dometic fridge is below the sink. On the opposite side of the sink is the propane stove with two burners and extra counter space. I use an EcoFlow Wave2 portable rechargeable AC if I am going somewhere hotter. It’s been used twice. I can add the unit for an extra fee if you want it. Integrated solar panels coupled with the engine alternator generate the power for the vehicle. I have added a shore power option for plug-in on the side of the van. With both 12v and 120v as power options electronic devices and small appliances can be used. I redid the electrical wiring and also installed a power monitor to track how much energy different devices use. The van has 4 new tires and the brakes were replaced before purchase. I have listed the other features below: -ecoboost engine provides extra power at higher altitudes -airlifts are installed for better suspension -insulated except for the sliding door and rear doors (for now) -two 100 watt solar panels -two 155 amp 12v deep cycle batteries -40 amp solar charger controller -converter with 120 volt system panel -3000 watt pure sine wave power inverter -65 watt Dometic fridge -smart battery isolator -fuse protection for all electrical components -electric junction box -blue tooth speakers I did not install a shower and toilet because of the complexity and weight. I have portable options that are fine for what I need. However, the closet could be removed for a shower and toilet. There is room on the roof for a storage rack if you decide to take out the closet and need extra space. I can also provide invoices for the work I recently had done at San Leandro RV. If you have any more technical questions I can direct you to Greg (shop owner). WOULD BE INTERESTED IN A TRADE FOR A USED RIVIAN TRUCK. OR MAKE AN OFFER.
