Originally designed stealthy for living in corporate parking lots, high clearance makes this 2WD a highly capable and proven adventure van. It has served as a base camp for many family adventures and hunting trips. Peaceful sleeping, tons of storage, a versatile garage, clean aesthetics, excellent kitchen space, and an outdoor shower make this an all-around great van. Interior comforts include custom blackout magnetic curtains, a Wifi extender, dual roof fans, great house power, and a Webasto heater. Read on for more details... Professionally converted by Dave & Matt Vans in March of 2020 and further upgraded and customized each year. For instance, the house power includes: - Dual Solar Panels (320 watts total) - Dual Renogy Lithium Battery Bank ( 340Watts ) - Dual MaxxAir roof fans w/ remote - Dometic CFX3 95DZ (Dual Zone top load Fridge/Freezer) - Marine Grade Blue Sea Fuses, Connectors, & Cutoffs - 50 amp Renogy DC/DC Charger ( integrated with the Alternator to enable charging from the engine) - 3,000 watt Renogy Inverter/Charger ( provides clean 110 inside and also enables charging from a 3prong house plug) - Winegard CONNECT 2.0 4G+ (provides an extension of Wifi[free] and 4G Cellular[requires a plan] and TV Broadcast) - and more.... These improvements were made to allow flexibility for charging ( engine, solar, and house ). The starter Battery always has priority and is topped off by solar even when the van is parked. Inside the van are USB-A, USB-C(Quick Charge), and 110 plugs located in the garage, kitchen, and sliding door. This allows you to charge iPhones and accessories as well as your Mac or Appliances. In the most remote sites, I have comfortably run my Mac, Starlink, and kitchen appliances for 2 days while working remotely. If you do run low, you can always just start the engine (it acts as a generator). Keeping tabs on the system is easy with the Renogy bluetooth app, and there is also a voltmeter on the Electrical Panel. With the Winegard extender you can easily grab free Wifi, for example from a Starbucks parking lot. The sleeping platform has also been customized. The bed quickly switches between Queen & King configurations. In Queen mode, the kitchen has more space, but you sleep sideways in the van ( I am 6'3", so this is a little tight). A custom leaf allows the bed to be quickly switched to a King-size bed so two people can easily sleep lengthwise in the van. It is made of 3 smaller platforms, which are each hinge folded, so they are light to carry in and out. When the bed platform is entirely removed, the garage is wide open with ample room for gear. You can also leave any of the three bed platforms in so that you have storage bin shelves in the garage. Additionally, there are magnetized interior curtains that have three layers: (1)Blackout Sunbrella fabric (facing outside), (2) Soundproofing and insulation(middle), and (3) a Tommy Bahamas Blue and White pattern(inside). These serve well to create a peaceful and private sleeping environment. The cab curtains by themselves work great while on long road trips. We use the cab overhead shelf to store all curtains. For additional comfort, the Webasto EVO 40 heater with thermostat provides warmth even during the Winter. The heater is housed in an insulated ( nearly silent ) trunk. The trunk serves as pantry storage, a bench, a step into bed, and also provides a charging center that is easy to reach from the outside while in camp. Dual fans ( front & rear ), provide multipe options, for instance we often run one fan blowing in and one fan blowing out which creates great circulation. Each fan has an insulated cover that we use during the Winter. The kitchen and storage are also versatile. I removed the original standup fridge and replaced it with a Dometic Dual Zone Fridge/Freezer. This created more room in the kitchen, which I replaced with dresser-size drawers to create more storage for clothes and equipment. A Laveo Dry toilet is hidden beneath a custom bench and Lagun Table that can be used to extend the kitchen counter or as either a table/desk with the front seats swiveled. The fridge also serves as a bench and can be reached outside the van. We use it as a serving counter for everyone at the campsites. The sink has two 7-gallon tanks ( 1 fresh and 1 grey ). The driver's side has a second sliding door. We use this to shower outside using the extendable sink faucet, and it also hides a "utility closet" where we keep tools, oil, washer fluid, a broom, and the charging cable. Our favorite use of the second slider is to simply open both slider doors and let the views and breeze come in. There are many more details I'm happy to share and show.
