I bought La Perla for the specific trip of spending the winter camping and traveling Mexico. Last winter I traveled 8,000 miles in Mexico and was in all 4 bodies of water encircling the country. La Perla performed flawlessly and did not use one drop of oil the entire trip. It’s the Winnebago model and has 2 burner stove and sink with running water. It also has a furnace for those cold nights in the mountains. The improvements I had done were: New timing belt New front brakes and rotors New Fiamma 8’ awning New Bluetooth stereo with all new speakers Go Westy lift kit with 16” rims, Yokohama Geolander tires and Bilstein shocks New bumper end caps New stove struts New front floor mats Renogy 100 watt solar suitcase It comes with pots, pans, silverware, Coleman stove, garden hose and axe and many other extras for camping. The only thing not working is the propane refrigerator, but I never even tried to fix it. La Perla runs great and I just had it inspected by Indian Creek Motors in Boulder, Colorado which specializes in Eurovans. They said it was solid and had no fluid leaks. La Perla has a few dings here and there, but she has a few years on her. It saddens me to let her go, but it’s time for her to have more adventures with someone else.
