Unique shuttle bus features (including welded steel frame cage under finished surfaces) could easily be modified for many different use configurations. No current rear tow hitch but could easily be equipped and would have high tow capacity. Regularly hauled over 5,000 lbs of passengers & baggage with plenty of power over Colorado high mountain passes in inclement Winter weather. Very capable vehicle that allows safe travel in extreme weather conditions and light off-roading. 2006 Ford F-550 factory 4x4 chassis (19,000 lb. GVWR) Krystal Koach KK33 28 pax shuttle bus (34.5’ overall length & 250” wheelbase), very maneuverable and easy to drive. Current 30” luggage compartment and removable wall, easily modified for new interior layout. Four wheel disc brakes, rear duallys, MorRyde rubber rear supplemental ride system for very smooth ride quality, front manual hubs allowing “shift on the fly” 4x4 engagement (when hubs locked in). Good condition (6) Cooper RM253 Winter style tires (225x75x19.5”) with rim mounted spare. 103K miles, company owned since new with full maintenance records, all scheduled p.m. (including Shell Rotella oil with regular BG products oil flush, oil additive & fuel treatments.) Ford/ Navistar 6.0L / 366 ci V8 diesel with Bullet Proof Diesel Billet Oil Cooler/ Remote Filter kit. Bully Dog in cab controller (displays boost, alternator, coolant/ oil temp, etc.) Dual fuel tanks (59 gallon total capacity) with in-cab electric switch. Diesel fired heater could easily be adapter for rear passenger area heating when stationary. 5 speed automatic transmission with tow/haul feature. Passed semi-annual USDOT inspection in May ‘24 Dual 110 amp alternators feed the dual underhood battery system with additional under chassis “reservoir” battery. Dual underhood a/c compressors and under bus a/c fans/ condensers power the 68,000 btu overhead passenger main cabin a/c & heater front facing combo unit. High idle feature (activated by switch & e brake) assist rapid rear section overhead a/c & heater effectiveness. Krystal Koach KK33 rear cabin features high ceiling height (76” inches) and structural steel cage with seat (easily removed) attachment points/ pedestals (could easily be used as bed, galley, couch, cabinet build outs, solar battery bank, etc.). Seat pedestals that bolt into floor and side wall attachment welded rails have 12.5” height, 35” length & 10” width. 32” floor spacing between steel pedestals, when all seats removed. Under seat pedestal storage once built upon will be approx 10” height, 35” wide and tbd length, depending on which of the 13 seat pedestals are retained. Durable vinyl xx” ribbed center aisle with grey carpet elsewhere throughout cabin, including side walls that transition. into grey vinyl. Air activated single piece “plug door” with smooth exterior styling, low road & wind noise. Emergency exit dump valve allows door to stay open when parked if wanted. Rear swing out door dimensions are 32” x 63”. Overhead interior low draw led strip lighting with front cabin control switch, multi speaker stereo & dvd system, interior height is 76” allowing for full stand up. Rear overhead emergency hatch can easily be retrofitted with r.v. Style a/c unit. (4) rear emergency windows pivot outward using top hinge for stationary airflow. Dark 80% tint windows for privacy and blackout curtains could easily be installed. Roof has large uninterrupted area (approx 6’ x 12’) in front over emergency hatch for multiple solar panels and/or roof rack storage. Recent oil flush/change, oil additive, fuel treatment, fuel filters, dual underhood batteries, steering stabilizer, front shocks, triple belt replacement. Historic repairs included power steering column, turbo, dual alternators, starter, brakes, shocks, steering stabilizer, power steering. Possibilities of rear door access for dirt bikes/ Mt. bikes. We have seen combo hanging bike storage & rear shower conversions utilizing same space with walk through from main cabin design. Rig does have some paint peeling issues and minor fiberglass damage from recent contact with rental car door opening into vehicle at low speed (easy fiberglass repair). We had planned on sandblasting the vehicle and shooting it with U-Pol Raptor bedliner product to match the rear bumper (coated 4 years ago). See attached photo for rear bumper finish and multi year durability. Current business time constraints prevent us from completing this project, but we see the vision of a very cool campermobile/ toy hauler or keep current configuration for proven extreme weather shuttle bus. UPol Raptor is a very durable commercial grade coating that can be applied by consumers with a simple “shutz gun” and basic air compressor. As shown by the rear bumper, it holds up very well over time, has a nice “pebble” finish and is offered in many colors (including custom tint-able option) and a great refinishing solution. Rig is located in the Aspen area and delivery is available to Glenwood Springs, accessible via I-70 and also on Amtrak California Zepher with GWS train station. Possible Denver / DIA delivery if requested.
