This rare hi-top custom camper (a unicorn!) with overhead skylights was imported from Japan last year and we have done considerable mechanical work as well as a full conversion. I love it, but my dog is terrified of it and it just isn't going to work because my whole dream was for my dog and I to travel in it together. The van is stylish, comfortable, and functional and it has a ton of storage. I am asking $58,500 (which is less than what i have put into it) and I am motivated to sell so I can get a truck camper with a cab for my huge neurotic dog! We have a pull out kitchen with a propane tank to hook up the stove in the back with tons of storage for all kitchen supplies, camping equipment, tables, chairs, and firewood. We have a fan, a diesel heater, an amazing dometic air conditioner, and a great kitchen unit with tons more storage and a pull out fridge from under the bed. MECHANICAL CONDITION It drives great and we get about 18 to 20mpg when it is fully loaded. It drives comfortably at around 70mph on the highway. Deans Auto Care in Portland, Oregon has undertaken the following work on the van: • Complete cylinder head and gasket replacement with new timing components and fuel injector rebuild. • Replaced camshaft • Replaced rear wheel cylinders • Replaced rear sway bar link/bushing • Rebuilt the radiator/fill and bled cooling system • Replaced cable and modify for pickup/4 runner kickdown cable Also • Brand new Yokohama Geolander all-weather 235/70 R15 tires plus a full-sized spare tire • Back up camera • Car multimedia player with Bluetooth and remote. CONVERSION We took out the original passenger seats and back kitchen area which we still own and will include should a buyer be interested in keeping those parts. The van is fully insulated, and we have put in new flooring and a white laminate ceiling and walls. We have a 70” by 60” queen sized bed – with an extremely comfortable mattress. The driver's cab is all original.
