Meet Guinevere (aka “Gwinny” aka “Gwin Diesel”)! My partner and I are the second owners of this van and built it out in early 2021. Since then we have had two amazing years of travel in Gwinny all across the lower 48 and through Alaska and Canada. We are avid backpackers who love the outdoors and this van has truly enabled us to see some incredibly remote and beautiful places while providing the flexibility and comfort of a cozy home on wheels. Recently, we welcomed a sweet baby girl to our family and have decided to sell our van but hope that she will soon be back on the road with a new owner. The buildout is packed with features, tons of storage space, and a layout that maximizes living space during the day with a stowable queen size bed. Large windows let in plenty of light and are perfect for enjoying the views while lounging on the bench seats. A full kitchen with abundant pantry space, an efficient fridge/freezer, a two-burner induction stove, and a huge sink give you everything you need to cook up your favorite meals on the go. The electrical system is super capable for extended travel off-grid with a 300 Ah battery bank, 2200 W inverter, 400 W solar panels, and additional charging options from the vehicle battery and shore power. Dimmable lighting zones throughout make it easy to set the mood. Well suited for the more adventurous explorers, the shower and toilet are both accessed from the rear doors and provide a luxurious open air experience. Overall, we loved having the 170” wheelbase high roof sprinter which is the perfect balance between lots of interior space and ease of driving/maneuverability. This van has major versatility from driving/parking in big cities to cruising along gravel or dirt forest service roads with upgraded shocks and springs. The 4 cylinder engine with 7 speed transmission has plenty of power and shockingly good efficiency (20-23 mpg over a mix of highways and gravel roads). Full spec lists are below.
