The cabin air conditioning needs repair. (This is the air conditioning you would turn on when you're driving.) I need to get a quote on fixing this. Will report back. The living quarters has a ceiling ventilation fan but no air conditioning. This was never a problem for me, as I did most of my traveling in the Rocky Mountains. But being that this van is currently located in Tennessee, I'm getting many inquiries from people wanting to travel around the hot, humid Southeast. Installing an air conditioner in the living quarters would be a major project and would probably require more energy than the solar system could supply. If you want to do van life with air conditioning, get a rig with a generator. It would be hard to fit a generator and an AC in a van this small. So if you need AC, you might want to look elsewhere. Alternatively, you could dramatically increase the ventilation in this van by installing RV windows in the side panels and/or back panels. That would be a straightforward project but would require some research, money, and time. I could guide you towards the right products though. There are lots to choose from. You could also construct a roll-down mosquito net for the side door and/or back door. I've seen some vans with this feature and think it would make a great upgrade. There is currently a ceiling fan (installed under the solar panels) but it is a bit under-powered. RV windows would be a great upgrade! I would do it if I had the time. The flooring is just the factory floor. Laying vinyl over that floor would also make for a nice upgrade. The body has a few rust spots. Common for T1N Sprinters, especially the white ones for some reason. It currently needs an oil change. This is just a heads up in case you come test drive it before I end up getting that done.
