Introducing our unique Recon Camper Van, a true gem awaits its new owner. Crafted in 2018 by Recon Campers in Marina Del Ray, this van is a testament to their ENVY package. The ENVY conversion was a highly sought-after trim package, and my family patiently waited over two years for Recon to complete it. Now, it's your chance to own this one-of-a-kind vehicle! My wife and I bought the new van in January 2017 from Nissan with only 30 miles on it, which now has 39k miles. It has never been my primary vehicle, so the miles are low, given its age and use. It's been on two cross-country road trips, countless desert trips, and multiple trips up and down the coast. The beautiful thing about this van is that it's very stealthy and easy to pull off the beaten path and rest for a few hours or even days. We've had our fair share of fun with this van, and I'm sure you will, too! The van is up to date with service; the CA registration is about to expire at the end of June. The tires are brand new, and a full spare is under the van. The van has never been in a serious collision with another vehicle, but we ran over a ladder on the freeway in 2022, which required a new transmission and oil pan, among other things. I have the paperwork to show the work. Insurance covered the damage, and a legitimate auto repair shop did the job. Since then, we've put roughly 6k miles on it, and it drives like it's new. The van gets roughly 24-26 MPG in the city and on the highway. What's great about this van is that it travels with up to 4 people and gear. With the pop-top, you can sleep two upstairs or open it up for airflow and standing room. The Recon Bench seat, which is crash test rated, folds out to sleep two and has an adjusting back so you can sit up in bed. We've had a lot of fun backing into parks, opening the back, and grilling out while road-tripping. The van has a 10-gallon fresh water tank, a full touchscreen control panel to operate the lights, a water pump, a mini fridge, a water heater, and USB outlets. A hose connection is in the back for showers and cleaning your feet after beach days. The front seats have custom Carhart seat covers to protect the seats. Included are the two original keys with lock/unlock buttons. Additionally, there is a backup camera and Bluetooth connection for the stereo. Included with the van sale are all of Recon's custom window covers. They're magnetic, dual-sided, and made from 7-layer technical fabric. We slept in nearly freezing temps without a heater because of how well the van's insulation is. Get ready for many more years of camping fun with this one-of-a-kind compact camper!
