Finally finished the build on this 1980 Mercedes T1. Originally built to full-time out of but plans change and now it's for sale. Lot of love put into the interior with 157,000 miles on the chassis and a rebuilt motor by MBZ Diesel. Recently replaced the shocks with Bilsteins, brakes and hydraulics, and upgraded to a modern blade style fuse box. This van has been dead reliable for me. The OM616 engines are bomber and all the systems are simple to maintain and operate. Rust free frame! I have a list of parts suppliers who have sourced anything I've needed that I'd be happy to pass along with the sale. 14 gallons of fresh water, 200aH battery bank, 600W inverter, 160W of solar, vented diesel heater, camp chef two burner stove and oven, 65qt fridge.
