Price Reduced 7/17/24 $74,900 We are Richard & Jennifer and are excited to share our skoolie story with you. Back in 2021, Richard was a builder specializing in custom homes & remodeling. His eye for detail and craftsmanship skills shines through in our skoolie build. We built our last two sticks’n’bricks homes together. I, Jennifer, am the visionary...whatever I draw, Richard can build. I even drew the blueprints for our last home we built. What started as a dream in the spring of 2021, became a reality later that year. We bought a yellow school bus in May of 2021 and began the huge task of gutting it that summer. While gutting the bus, we removed all the school bus windows. We added RV windows and a real RV front door with a touchpad keyless entry and screen door. In September of 2021 we accepted jobs as operations managers of a KOA campground in Michigan and by the end of the year we sold our home and most of our belongings. It was SO freeing!! We finished the conversion in March of 2022 and absolutely love the lifestyle simplified living has brought. The past 2 years we have been stationary at the campground for 9 months each year and have now traveled twice to Florida for the winter months. The bus flat tows our 4 door Jeep beautifully even through the mountains of TN. This experience has taught us that we love tiny living and plan to live this lifestyle long term. In doing so we have made the difficult decision to sell our beloved skoolie (because Richard said that I can’t have 2 busses...lol) and we are in the process of converting our 2nd bus, an MCI Motorcoach to better meet our family’s needs. Our plan is to use a lot of the same materials/finishes as we used in our skoolie because we do love it!! We are excited to meet the new owners of our bus as we have been praying for you as you prepare for your own skoolie adventure.
