Seller's Description

Here is my 2016 Ford Transit Connect XLT micro camper van. This van is small and therefore not for everyone! However, if you’re looking to see what traveling in a van is like, are looking for a stealth camping vehicle, or simply want the smallest and most convenient way to get out there and have the adventure of a lifetime, this might be the rig for you. Van: - 2016 Ford Transit Connect XLT. - VIN NM0LS7F76G1287267 - 128k miles presently. - 2.0L DOHC. - Regular maintenance every 5,000 miles or less including full synthetic oil, oil filter, air filters, tie rod greasing. - New Continental Viking Contact Winter Tires @ 120k miles. - New Duralast Gold (serviceable) tie rod ends @ 125k miles with alignment. - New alternator @ 122k miles. - New brake pads and rotors @ 122k miles. - VanTech Roof Rack. - Someone attempted to steal the solar panel and storage box I had on top of the van, damaging the roof rack and solar panel. The rack mounts are good as new and ready for bars and solar again if you want to add them back. - A/C is cold. - WeBoost Cellular Booster. - Husky rubber floor mats and WeatherTech wind/rain deflectors. - Auto-tensioning snow chains all the way around. I’m technically the third owner of the van. It was originally a fleet vehicle and work van for the “second owner”. When he decided to start his own business he bought it from his previous employer (aka the first owner) so it’s only ever been driven by him and I. Overall the vehicle is in great shape! It has been religiously maintained and as a result it runs very well and I’ve never had any unexpected issues. Cosmetically the vehicle is rust free and relatively clean but does show some chips, dents, scratches, and stains as a result of use. As a note, this van is surprisingly capable, especially in the snow. I’ve never gotten it truly stuck and have passed many capable 4x4’s with bad drivers. Camper: - Fully insulated with Havelock wool on walls, doors, and ceiling as well as XPS rigid board under the floor. - Insulated/black out window and fan coverings - Couch with 3” cooling gel foam and 1” rigid bamboo foam that converts to approx. a double bed. - Small flip down galley area with single burner butane stove. - 2 x 4L Sea to Summit Watercell X bags with attachable shower head. - Mr. Heater Little Buddy. - Plenty of storage space. - MaxxFan Deluxe 6200K 10-speed reversible fan. - 2 x SeaVolt 6” RGBW Dimmable Marine LED lights. - SeaVolt RGBW Multifunction Touch Controller. - Blue Sea 12V Charging Station. - Renogy 12V 200ah Smart Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery. - Renogy DCC50S 12V 50A DC to DC Battery Charger with MPPT. - Charges Camper battery via alternator and solar. - Renogy 175W Solar Panel. - Blue Sea SafetyHub Marine Fuse Block and Distribution Bus. - 2 x RV battery heaters. - Accessible marine isolation/cutoff switches and fusing for camper battery, alternator, and solar. Very comfortable and livable interior space with a surprising amount of storage. I travel with all of my everyday belongings plus rock climbing gear, skiing gear, backpacking gear, camping gear, and hiking gear with no issues. The pass-through holds 4 pairs of skis. Additionally the side closet is designed to accommodate two mad rock bouldering pads if you remove the closet rod. The bed is very comfortable and spacious for a solo traveler but I have traveled for awhile with a companion and it is still quite comfortable. Why I’m selling: 1. I enjoy a project and this one is done (aside from finishing details) so time for something new. 2. I bought a high clearance 4x4 overlanding rig that I spend most of my time traveling in now. Thanks for looking at my camper. I still travel in this van so mileage will continue to go up and I’ll probably continue to make small improvements. The van is currently in NY. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to request some more photos. I’m currently asking $19,000 O.B.O. Cheers, Liam
