2017 Ford Transit 350XL Conversion/Camper Van

This van is awesome. We just purchased this a couple months ago solely for the purpose of going on a cross country road trip (roughly 10k miles) for our honeymoon, which we did! We spent a lot of time researching camper vans prior to making this purchase and we are SO glad we went with the Ford Transit. Our personal advice? Don’t buy a Mercedes or Dodge sprinter van! The maintenance costs are way more than this Ford Transit. Trust us. We owned a Sprinter prior to this. Oil changes are way cheaper with Ford vehicles compared to Mercedes. Also, parts and labor are way easier to source comparatively and Sprinters are notorious for having issues. Google it. You’ll see what we’re talking about. Lastly, our suggestion is purchase a vehicle that uses gas instead of diesel. If you have any desire to travel east of the Rocky Mountains like we did, gas is way cheaper than diesel. $2.55/gal vs $4.50/gal makes a huge difference. We’re only going to own a Ford Transit in the future when we purchase again. We’re selling because we only purchased this for our long 6 week road trip and no longer need the van. 3.5L V6 Ecoboost engine. RWD. Good sound system with subwoofer. A previous owner must have loved their music because this thing can bump the sound if you want to. Built in lights with dimmers, ventilation fan, and refrigerator. All can be alternator or solar powered. Your choice. Sink with 5 gal fresh and gray water system with electric pump faucet. Lots of storage under the sink. Folding table for eating. Swappable containers for carrying as much water as you want. Portable shower system and toilet. Renogy solar - manuals included for all devices. Battery power and solar generation can be monitored directly from an app on your phone. 2000W 12V Pure Sine Wave Inverter 20A MPPT Charge Controller 40A DC-DC Battery Charger 4 lithium cells provide 212Ah of power and connects to BT to control with your phone. Good for cooking (we used an InstaPot), charging electronics, stereo system, fans, electric blanket, etc. Can charge battery from alternator while driving if it’s too dark for solar. Great for off-grid or boondocking. Be self-sufficient for days. Electric blanket and tire chains make good for four season van life. Lots of storage space accessible from front or back. Durable and easy to clean coin vinyl flooring. Large 4K backup camera. Windows make it very easy to drive and increase the enjoyability of surroundings. Back windows are tinted for privacy and the van comes with custom black insulated window covers for privacy/light/insulation. 100,000 mile maintenance includes new throttle body, spark plugs, ignition coils, crank case pressure sensor, rear diff. gasket, and new front tires. Regular oil changes. We have maintenance records from the previous owner. During our trip, we only required an oil change, which we have paperwork for. This is a super reliable vehicle. Comes with tire chains and electric blanket for queen bed. Current camper features are ready to hit the road today, but also offer lots of opportunity for further customization to make the van of your dreams.
