Our 2019 Ford Transit van conversion is an extended length, high roof model that was built with the highest-end materials, features and technical parts to enable weeks of off grid living in comfort. The van has a clean title and has had no accidents or issues, with meticulous care taken. In addition to a nearly king size bed, full kitchen and work-from-home setup, the van’s premium electrical and running water systems allow comfortable off grid living for weeks at a time. Specifically, the sink and indoor shower use hot (heated by a Bosch 4 gallon electric water heater) and cold purified water, with a capacity of 40 gallons and a gray water deposit of 20 gallons. The best-in-class Nature’s Head compostable toilet is installed behind a Nautilus self cleaning sliding door for convenience and privacy. The electrical system features 3 flexible solar panels (575W), 3 Battle Born 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries, a AIMS Power 2000W inverter charger and a Sterling 60amp battery to battery charger. This means that the van’s electricity can be charged while simply driving, from the sun, or from shore power (ex. a house). This extensive electrical setup has ensured that even in the depths of winter, we’ve never been without power. The van is equipped with both standard US 120V outlets (powered by the inverter charger), and 12V DC ports to power any range of device / appliance. Comfort is key with this van - we’ve used it on -20F winter nights and 100F summer days. The gas powered Webasto heater circulates sufficient heat even in the coldest temperatures while the ceiling MaxxFan Deluxe draws air from 2 custom side windows, and 2 supplemental base fans. Working full time in the van is ideal - beyond the reliable electrical system, the van features a 4G/LTE antenna for improved wifi and 3 distinct desk / table areas. A SimpliSafe security system is installed throughout the van with motion, glass-break and entry sensors. The kitchen is equipped with all needs for extensive cooking - such as a quality propane-powered oven and range top, 3.2 cubic ft Vitrifrigo refrigerator and freezer, abundant counter space, a spice rack and large storage areas. Generally, storage is plentiful throughout the van - including an ~3ft overhead compartment, floor-to-ceiling closet, 8 overhead cabinets, numerous kitchen drawers, a ~3ft platform compartment and bulk storage for larger items underneath the bed area. As a note, brand new winter tires have been installed on the van, with four multi-season spare tires available as well.
