Seller's Description
This Ford Transit 350 XLT started out as a 15 passenger van. I removed all but the front seats (the seat rails are still intact) and put in a double memory foam bed with drawers underneath. It's perfect for one and a little tight for two. The extra batteries are stored underneath the bed. I built in a small "bathroom" area with a curtain that doubles as a clothes hanger. There are built in shelves in the rear and a small table over the wheel well. I made insulated window coverings, theyre not perfect but they do the trick. The front windshield has an anti glare ceramic tint, while the cabin windows are all darkly tinted. The driver and passenger side windows are also anti glare tinted. There is a full length roof rack constructed of Unistrut components. Nice chrome running boards. I've installed a battery isolator and 2 100 amp marine batteries wired to a 1200 watt inverter. If I was keeping the van I would upgrade to a higher watt inverter. I can use an electric kettle but only a very small watt heater. I purchased the swivel for the passenger seat but have not installed it as yet. The van comes with 2 - 100watt solar panels and the controller for those. There is a keyed cargo carrier, molle seat covers and numerous molle bags. Also Pioneer NEX 2550 communication package with Android Auto and a Nexar 2 way dashcam. The tires are very aggressive and work well in snow, rain and mud. They are B.F.Goodrich KO2 LT255/70 R16 which is a larger tire than what comes standard. This has lowered the gas mileage to around 15mpg but it was worth it for the stability.
