Seller's Description

Hello future trippers! I bought this Ford Transit ext length & Height eco boost V-6 van in 2018 and had it built out by VanHaus vans in Oregon for my trip through Central America. After adventuring for years, picking up a French fiancé off an island in Honduras and having a baby alone in an Airbnb in the mountains of Mexico… I am ready to spread my wings and embark on my next adventure. I would like to pass this van, nicknamed the cocoon, to someone who is also looking for a transformational journey. I am currently in Baja California trying to get my son a U.S. passport but I can drive it up to the states for sale. I was just in the states and put in a new inverter, and batteries and fixed her completely ready for a new adventure but we only made it down to the tip of Baja before deciding to put roots down in the little paradise of Todos Santos. If anyone is looking for and adventure ready van, look no further. This van was bought brand new and built out professionally by Van Hause Vans in southern Washington state, specifically to travel the Pan American Highway to Chile. We got rid of any nonsense that doesn’t make sense in a van: Put the shower outside not inside, chose a light weight but durable substitute for wood slats on ceiling and walls (less squeaking and weight) Everything is supported with 80/20 aluminum supports so it’s STRONG!!! And stays in place when on dirt roads and bouncing around. This is a professional build built by people who also build vans for professional dirt bikers so they know how to make it last. I’ve been traveling Central America for five years in this van and unlike almost every other van lifer I come across, nothing is falling apart. This is a low maintenance project. I created it not to spend my journey having to keep fixing it, but to enjoy the journey in peace.
