I’ve lived in/built vans for 13 years. That chapter is coming to an end for me. I’m hoping to find a good home for this van. While everyone’s needs are different,I’ve spent enough time in vans to understand what makes a layout practical. This van has an L shaped couch with a dining area (I’ve comfortably hosted many dinners with friends). There’s a fold down table. They bed is a Murphy bed design using the back rest from the couch as the bedding. This prevents the “whole van being a bed” feeling. It’s easy to set up (sub 30 seconds). The bed is designed to sleep sideways. My friend that’s 6’2 borrowed it for a few days. He had no trouble being comfortable sleeping at a slight angle. It’s the same width as a full size bed. The van is entirely powered off solar. 3) 100 watt renogy panels, 1200 watt inverter, 200 AH battery (new within the last year). All solar components are renogy.. There’s an extra deep sink powered by a sea flo water pump. No gray water to deal with. Just use biodegradable soap. Includes a dometic 3 burner stove/oven combo and a dometic 12v fridge. Has a dometic fridge. All of the drawers are made from repurposed wine boxes. I was formerly a 3 Michelin star chef, so the kitchen layout was designed with intent and function, including the spice rack. Of course there’s the classic dometic fan in the ceiling. There’s also a small clip on fan for warmer nights. I’ve lived in this van full time for 4 years. I find storage and organization to be a big challenge for most people living in vans. You could easily store a bike, climbing gear, or whatever you’re into under the bed and access it from the rear cargo doors. I store 4 seasons of clothes and all of my belongings neatly and out of sight. The passenger seat swivels. Perhaps the one feature I cannot live without is the Webasto stc air top heater which I just replaced and haven’t even had a chance to use. On -10° nights in Wyoming I’ve used it on half power and had to turn it down because it was too warm. The lighting is wired with 3 different zones, including one for nighttime reading. On the interior there are nicks here and there, nothing major. There are 2 very small dents on the side panels of the van that show no damage to the paint and no signs of rust. Mechanically the van runs great. It’s just below 70k miles at time of posting. No leaks. No holes. No mice.
