Hey all!! Up for sale is a 2014 Dodge Ram Promaster 2500, fully built for the freedom and excitement of VanLife!!! Asking 49,999!!! Much work and love has gone into this van, and although we are sad to see it go, the time has come. I just replaced the transmission (6100$ job) remanufactured and all work done by Dodge Ram Dealership!! This van will now run beautifully for at least another 100K miles! Along with the transmission I also just replaced the Catalytic Converter (1800$) and it has already passed smog and is GOOD to go! My wife and I built this van back in 2019 and it was a wonderful experience, both creating our own home from scratch, and then afterwards with transitioning to living in it and traveling around camping wherever we liked and seeking new climbs to try and put down. Sad to be letting go of Vaan (so he has been named) but all good things must at one point come to an end. We are looking for a new owner for him so that he can continue providing joy and freedom to any who seeks it. I am carpenter by trade and handbuilt everything with my wife. The inside panels are tongue and groove cedar for the walls and ceiling. It has a TV setup inside, and while I was living in it, I had a Playstation 4 setup and could play. We have a Wifi Extender that you can plug into an outlet in the van, so as long as you have the password for Wifi, you can extend it into the van for whatever needs to be done. We have 400w of solar panels on the roof, along with a 1000amp inverter, and all the bells and whistles so that power would never be a problem under any circumstance. We hardwired the fridge into the DC line so that it would always have power (and actually consume less than plugging it into an outlet). The fridge itself was nearly 1000$ and costs very little power overall. We have running water with a 10gallon tank that I setup so that you can just screw on the end of hose and can fill from any spigot. Vinyl flooring with a tile-esque finish, and full pitch-black blinds that make it so it is impossible to see inside in anyway if you so wish. There is also a window we put in over the sink with the same black blinds, and it can be opened and closed, and latched, easily for comfort. There is a fan positioned over the bed area, and with the window slightly cracked, even in the hottest days of summer you will be cooled by the passing breeze. The van itself is a 2014 Dodge Ram Promaster 2500, which we felt was the perfect size. It has 116,000 miles and has been cared for meticulously over the years. It runs smooth for a US built van and should have a long lifespan ahead. Not overly big, but definitely big enough to be comfortable for two people, or spacious for one. Inside is a climbing hangboard that will be apart of the van, since it would be a massive hassle to take it down, and it can weight someone up to maybe 190-200 pounds. The electrical system was built with a master ON/OFF switch for easy tune-ups and tweaks that need to be made, and I was helped by a friend of mine who designs the microchips for modern smart phones, so needless to say, the setup works phenomenally. Very grateful for the help we had in putting together the trickier parts of this project. Looking for SERIOUS buyers only. Don't call or email me trying to lowball. It will be a waste of time on both ends. If you are looking for something that will give you more freedom in the world, while still maintaining a sense of comfort with modern aspects, then this is the Vaan for you. Much love has gone into this project, and so we are looking for someone to take it in with the same ideals in mind. I'm sure you may have lots more questions as there is so much that went into this van that it is impossible to list everything here, so I feel it would be easier to just shoot me a call and we can chat if the van piques your interest. Feel free to email through here, or to reach out to me via phone at .. eight-five-eight three-six-one five-five-one-three - and my name is Justin Ryder. Thank you and have a great day!! Cheers, and may the Vanlife be with you!!
