Seller's Description

This van was built by a professional tiny home builder (Simply Tiny Development) and there are absolutely zero mechanical issues with the vehicle. I honestly love it but bought it with the idea someone would buy my travel trailer but no one did and I don't have a need for both! Sad for me but great for you! I am the sole owner / entity listed on the vehicle title, I can sign it away for you the day we meet-up with no delay! No liens or loans to worry about. The biggest thing that sets this van apart from others is that the previous owner was very adamant about making sure there were close to zero toxic chemicals in any of the building supplies used. Another thing that sets this van apart from every other listing is that the van has been weighed twice "Fully weighed down with camping gear, full tank of water and gasoline" and both times it was under the GVWR. Many people don’t think about this when building, and even fewer think about this when buying. Additionally, because this Transit was specifically built without framing around the bed, it's able to fit a bed horizontally, which frees up a lot of space in the kitchen and 'office' area. The dimensions of the bed are 77" by 70" allowing myself (5'11) and the previous owner (6'4) to sleep comfortably on it without being cramped. The height of the floor to the ceiling is also 77 inches, potentially allowing anybody 6’5 or below to stand comfortably. The electrical system is all Renogy, other than the charge controller. which is a 100 | 50 Victron charge controller. There is a bluetooth app for Renogy to monitor battery charge/discharge and levels. There also is a DC-DC battery charger (to allow the batteries to charge from the engine, but it is currently not working, I didn't look into it all that much because the Solar is far more than enough to keep it charged - it might just be off or it might be broken, either way it's not an expensive part to replace if you're going to be driving a lot and using way more power than I did), and the ability to plug into a 30A outlet. With the RTX Dometic 2000 Air Conditioner and a ridiculous 800Ah of lithium battery, you'll never be hot, and running out of power would be very challenging to do. I spent the summer skydiving in Moab and running the AC for maybe 5-7 hours a day while my dog remained in the vehicle with the Air Conditioner on, along with Starlink 24/7 and the battery rarely dipped outside of the night-time hours while Starlink ran and I charged all my devices and there was no sun to provide charging :) The next evening at Sunset it would be back full etc. – 3.5L V6 Turbo engine (Ecoboost) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD) – Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatible (wired *and* wireless at least for Carplay). Bluetooth too! – Brand new (installed this week) Yokohama Geolander AT4 All-Terrain ("Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake") tires – 360 degree backup camera – Alright sound for what's considered a work van by Ford :) – FordPass app compatible - check location of your parked van, lock and unlock the vehicle, remote or timed starts, all from the app as long as the van in in cell service (or possibly connected via wifi/Starlink, I didn't try this though) – 13-15 MPG highway, potentially better if you're at sea level or on flat ground, when I have moved from place to place in the van it's been through Utah and Colorado mountains mostly. – The drawers have locks, and there is also 2 secured hidden storage compartments in the vehicle. – Both front seats swivel. – Outdoor shower head. – There is a programmable key code on the driver side door for added convenience. – Water heater. – 30 Gallon fresh water tank (unused since June 2024 but only because of my personal circumstances) – 10 Gallon gray water tank (unused since I bought it in May 2024, I used the running water only for drinking water but stopped using it because it was easier to fill a separate tank with free Spring water in the Moab area versus $5 to fill the van at the RV supplies shop) – 800 Ah battery – 3000W Inverter – 600W Solar (3 x 200W panels) – VanEssential Bug nets on sliding door & back doors. – Back doors fold out completely if desired. – Extended powertrain warranty. – Plenty of space in the "Garage" – 12v offered RTX Dometic 2000 AC – Extra sliding window in front of the desk for a beautiful view everywhere you go. – TV/Monitor mount, potentially could include a 36" curved monitor if that interests you, the previous owner included it but I haven't used it – Big window installed into the sliding door for views in every direction of the beautiful vistas and National Parks you will visit. 🙂 – Happy to include a Starlink Flat High Performance dish that *may* work. I believe the cable might be broken but if you want to try and don't have a dish of your own, I'd be happy to include! I took the dish in another vehicle up to 69 degrees North and Starlink still worked great. Totally great boondocker campervan if you have access to a toilet or buy a compostable one or something like that. I spent 90% of my time camped near airports with restroom and/or shower facilities.
