My wife and I used the van to visit the mountains of NC, WV and VA during the summers. The vehicle looks, drives and smells new despite being 2017. The camper consists of 1 inch thick XPS foam insulated walls covered with upholstery and wood paneling. The bed sleeps two adults with storage underneath. A magnetic, hatch cover allows access to storage from the interior and for objects up to 12 feet to be hauled. There are no permanent modifications to the van resulting from the conversion. DRIVING A RAM PROMASTER: If you're not a safe driver or lack experience driving large vehicles you need to evaluate your abilities before purchasing. That being said, the Ram Promaster is fairly easy to drive for its larger size. The drivers seat offers a clear view of the road, the front wheel drive is responsive and handles all road conditions with ease. The ride is firm, comfortable and fairly quiet. The van is 7 feet 6 inches tall with 5 feet 7 inches of interior headroom.
